Midsummers\u2019s Day (<em>jaanip\u00e4ev<\/em>) on June 24 and <em>jaanilaup\u00e4ev<\/em> before it are the most important holidays on the Estonian calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/midsummer.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-95685\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s just after the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. In Estonia, it also coincides with the famous white nights \u2013 the nights have a constant light glow, and there are almost 19 hours of daylight on <em>Jaanip\u00e4ev<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To celebrate, we go to summer cottages, visit with family and friends, light bonfires, wear flower crowns, and sing and dance the \u2018night\u2019 away until the dawn of June 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s the perfect chance to enjoy life, go to the countryside, make new memories with friends, grill outside, and enjoy the warmth of summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Head jaanip\u00e4eva <\/em>from all the superheroes at Bondora!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>23 and 24 June are two very special days in the Bondora calendar.
