Enjoy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/timeline-new.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/timeline-new-721x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-92112\" \/><\/a><figcaption><em>(Click to enlarge)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2008\"><strong>2008<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bondora is <strong>founded<\/strong>, and the dream begins!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2009<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bondora establishes the <strong>first Nordic marketplace<\/strong> lending platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2011<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Winner<\/strong> of the \u201cBest Estonian E-service of 2011\u201d award and a <strong>quarter finalist<\/strong> at the World Summit Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2012<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The loan marketplace is opened to retail investors across Europe, making Bondora <strong>the world\u2019s first<\/strong> cross-border lending platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2013<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We launched loan products in <strong>Finland and Spain<\/strong>, making Bondora the first marketplace providing credit seamlessly across multiple countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2014<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raised <strong>\u20ac1.3 million<\/strong> seed round, led by Global Founders Capital, a private investment vehicle of the Rocket Internet founders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Winner<\/strong> of the \u2018Alternative Finance Platform of the Year (EU)\u2019 and \u2018P2P Consumer Platform of the Year (EU)\u2019 awards from AltFi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2015<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raised <strong>\u20ac4.5 million<\/strong> Series A round, led by Valinor Management LLC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are <strong>authorized as a consumer credit provider<\/strong> by the State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland to provide consumer credit in Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Receives <strong>runner-up award<\/strong> for \u2018Alternative Finance Platform of the Year (EU) 2015\u2019 from AltFi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2016<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open the API to all investors, making Bondora the <strong>first<\/strong> marketplace in Europe with a <strong>public API<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Licensed as a credit provider<\/strong> by the Estonian Financial Supervision Authority, the primary regulatory body in Estonia, governing and overseeing all financial service providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2017<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Huge milestone:<\/strong> 2017 was the <strong>first financially profitable<\/strong> year for Bondora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Launched <strong>Portfolio Pro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bondora celebrates <strong>\u20ac50M<\/strong> and then over <strong>\u20ac100M<\/strong> total loan originations in the same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2018<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bondora remains <strong>financially profitable<\/strong> for the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> year in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We launched the now iconic <strong>Go &amp; Grow<\/strong> <strong>celebrates<\/strong> <strong>its 2<sup>nd<\/sup> birthday<\/strong> with over 86 000 investors and \u20ac8.9M in returns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We<strong> revamped<\/strong> our Tallinn head office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bondora won a <strong>gold Family Friendly Employer reward<\/strong>, the highest honor the Ministry of Social Affairs can give.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2021<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Released an <strong>all-new Go &amp;
