In fact, investor returns for 2021 originations were higher in July <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/2021-return-rates-still-above-target\/\">compared to June<\/a>. Here is our main takeaway for July\u2019s portfolio performance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-key-statistics\">Key statistics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Originations returned a higher rate of 15.2% for 2021 originations<\/li><li>There was a 1.3% increase in returns for 2021 Q2 originations<\/li><li>An outlier in Estonia saw returns in AA-rated originations for 2021 Q2 fall to -13.0%<\/li><li>Returns on Finnish originations for the most recent quarter were 0.5% higher than in June<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-631.png\" alt=\"July was another month of strong return rates.\" class=\"wp-image-69690\" \/><figcaption><em>July was another month of strong return rates.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>As always, country-specific performance charts are broken down by the number of loan issuances over the given period, with Orange representing &lt; 50 loans, Blue 51-200, and White &gt; 200.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yearly performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 15.2% return rate for 2021 originations was 0.1% higher than last month. This was led by Estonian originations, which came in 0.2% higher to 17.5%. However, Finnish returns fell below their target rate this month, at 6.7%. 2017 returns grew as well, up by 0.2% to 0.7%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Portfolio-Performance-Yearly_July.png\" alt=\"Yearly performance \u2013 July 2021\" class=\"wp-image-69696\" \/><figcaption><em>Yearly performance \u2013 July 2021<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quarterly performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most recent quarter of 2021 Q2 came in with extremely strong returns at 12.6%, representing a 1.3% increase month-over-month. The previous quarter, 2021 Q1, saw its returns drop by only 0.1% to 16.9%, still well above its 10.2% target rate. All told, the most recent six quarters had return rates above their targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Portfolio-Performance_Quarterly_July-379x1024.png\" alt=\"Quarterly performance \u2013 July 2021\" class=\"wp-image-69702\" \/><figcaption><em>Quarterly performance \u2013 July 2021<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finland<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 5.9% return rate for D-rated Finnish loans\u2014the only origination category in 2021 Q2\u2014was higher than June\u2019s 5.4% rate. However, it\u2019s still below the target rate of 6.9%. In July, the most significant change was with 2020\u2019s Q4 originations: D-rated loans\u2019 returns fell from 8.5% to 1.8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Portfolio-Performance_Finland_July-436x1024.png\" alt=\"Finland portfolio performance \u2013 July 2021\" class=\"wp-image-69708\" \/><figcaption><em>Finland portfolio performance \u2013 July 2021<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Estonia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AA-rated originations for 2021 Q2 fell dramatically from 0.1% to -13.0% this month. Although, this seems like an outlier when compared to other rating categories for this quarter. Apart from AA-rated originations, all other rating categories\u2019 return rates increased compared to the previous month. The highest returns come, once again, from E-rated originations at an impressive 24.3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Portfolio-Performance_Estonia_July-403x1024.png\" alt=\"Estonia portfolio performance \u2013 July 2021\" class=\"wp-image-69714\" \/><figcaption><em>Estonia portfolio performance \u2013 July 2021<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originations in all five rating categories had lower returns for 2020 Q1 originations. F-rated originations dropped to a 16.1% return rate, slightly below its 17.1% target. When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/2021-return-rates-still-above-target\/\">compared to June<\/a>, returns were overall higher for the most recent quarter of originations, while previous quarter returns are still holding strong.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bondora returns are holding strong.
