A total of 70,327 missed payments were recovered over the month, 1.9% higher than the previous month. Thank you once again to our dedicated teams who make this happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-437-1024x575.png\" alt=\"Bondora\u2019s recovery process continues to rise.\" class=\"wp-image-55692\" \/><figcaption><em>Bondora\u2019s recovery process continues to rise.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All stages of the recovery process saw an increase in the number of loans recovered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In-house collections: +2.2%<\/li><li>Default &amp; court: +0.1%<\/li><li>Bailiff: +3.1%<\/li><li>Rare cases: +2.2%<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, Estonian, Finnish, and Spanish recoveries were higher in February, up by 2.8%, 0.6%, and 0.6%, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Recovery-perf_count-of-loans_Feb-1005x1024.png\" alt=\"Recoveries by the count of loans \u2013 February\" class=\"wp-image-55704\" \/><figcaption><em>Recoveries by the count of loans \u2013 February<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cash-recoveries\">Cash recoveries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The amount of cash recovered from missed payments jumped a significant 10.5% higher in February\u2014up to \u20ac748,323. This increase brought the average missed payment higher by 8.4%, with the last few months\u2019 missed payments averaging:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Feb 2021: \u20ac10.64<\/li><li>Jan 2021: \u20ac9.82<\/li><li>Dec 2020: \u20ac11.08<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recoveries in the Bailiff stage continue to comprise the majority of all cash recovered, totaling \u20ac563,707, or 75.3% of all recovered cash. This was followed by the Default &amp; Court recoveries stage at 20.1% of all cash recoveries. Rare cases took a 4.6% share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Recovery-perf_cash-flow_Feb-1-1024x895.png\" alt=\"Recoveries by cash flow \u2013 February\" class=\"wp-image-55710\" \/><figcaption><em>Recoveries by cash flow \u2013 February<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-yearly-recovery-rate\">Yearly recovery rate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/missed-payment-recoveries-grew-across-all-countries\/\">astronomically high recovery rate for 2021<\/a> came down in February, as we have expected. But despite this, it still registered a whopping 92.7%. Recovery rates for 2014, 2015, and 2020 originations were higher this month\u2014a sign that recoveries for older originations are holding firm. Overall, the yearly recovery rate for the 8-year period fell from 48.6% to 46.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Recovery-Rate_year_Feb-2021-1024x831.png\" alt=\"Recovery rate \u2013 February\" class=\"wp-image-55716\" \/><figcaption><em>Recovery rate \u2013 February<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recoveries-by-country\">Recoveries by country<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recoveries by country in 2021 still show highly skewed numbers, which are likely to come down as the year progresses. What\u2019s more impressive is the increasing recovery rates in 2020 for Finland (up 0.5%), Spain (up 0.2%), and Estonia (up 0.4%). The Spanish recovery rate was higher for 2019 originations, up from 45.4% to 45.9% this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Recovery-Rate_country_year_Feb-2021-1024x811.png\" alt=\"Recovery rate by country \u2013 February\" class=\"wp-image-55723\" \/><figcaption><em>Recovery rate by country \u2013 February<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The combination of more missed payment recovery and more cash recovered made an excellent month for Bondora recoveries. The 2021 recovery rate remains high and is expected to steadily decrease as the year progresses.
