Taiwan Semiconductor will manufacture the processors, as the companies already have a partnership in the manufacturing of iPhone and iPad processors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While this spells potentially great news for the tech giant, it leaves the company\u2019s former supplier of processors, Intel, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thestreet.com\/investing\/apple-reportedly-developing-own-processors-for-mac-computers\" target=\"_blank\">scrambling to make up for future lost business<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Apple-leaves-Intel-hanging.png\" alt=\"Apple leaves Intel hanging\" class=\"wp-image-32329\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThis news has negative longer-term implications for Intel, in-line with our concerns around Intel\u2019s future market share,\u201d Brad Gastwirth, chief technology strategist at Wedbush Securities, wrote in a note to investors. Shares of the chipmaker fell as much as 2.2% on Thursday while the rest of the market rose.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This positive news should offset recent doubts about Apple, which stemmed from an announcement that the company would be <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2020\/04\/27\/apples-iphone-12-production-delayed-report-says.html\" target=\"_blank\">delaying the release of its newest iPhone models<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amidst coronavirus fears, some fintech startups are still ramping up their growth. AvidXchange, an automated accounts payable platform, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/news.crunchbase.com\/news\/charlotte-based-fintech-unicorn-avidxchange-raises-128m-more-for-accounts-payable-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\">raised an additional $128 million<\/a> on top of the already $260 million the company rose in its Series F round of financing earlier this year. Funds were raised from a total of 52 investors, with big names such as MasterCard leading the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company has seen in recent months how the coronavirus pandemic has made their services <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/bankinnovation.net\/allposts\/biz-lines\/payments\/avidxchange-eyes-acquisitions-after-latest-funding-round\/\" target=\"_blank\">more needed than ever<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/AvidXchange-1024x681.png\" alt=\"AvidXchange\" class=\"wp-image-32335\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cOne of the things we learned with COVID is the importance of what we\u2019re doing for companies for continuity purposes, and that led to an acceleration in business,\u201d [CEO Michael] Praeger said. \u201cCompanies are realizing if they\u2019re in the environment of cutting paper checks, it\u2019s really hard to do that in the work-from-home environment because banks aren\u2019t going to allow [accounts payable] staff to take home pre-printed checks and process corporate payments at home.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All told, the US-based company has raised over $928 million to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Europe moves beyond the peak of coronavirus, its main industries are gearing up to restart their engines. This is welcome news for the region which has suffered deep economic losses over the preceding months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Car manufacturers, such as Volkswagen in Germany, are already <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/european-carmakers-restart-production-coronavirus-172807108.html\" target=\"_blank\">starting production back up<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Volkswagen.png\" alt=\"Volkswagen\" class=\"wp-image-32341\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;On Monday, the German auto industry is back. We at Volkswagen have used the five-week pause to prepare ourselves for restarting production,&#8221; said VW works council chief Bernd Osterloh.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governments in the region are doing their best to keep industries hurt most alive. It is expected that about \u20ac11 billion will be provided to Air France-FLM and Deutsche Lufthansa to maintain their operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">United States President Donald Trump took another step to sever ties with China. As per his request, the US will <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/economy\/china-economy\/article\/3082180\/us-china-decoupling-be-accelerated-tightening-technology\" target=\"_blank\">tighten its controls of exports<\/a>, specifically on technology products, to China. The Trump administration claims the move is being enacted to prevent the Chinese government from having access to technology that could bolster its military. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, the supply chain for specific technology products will be greatly impacted.
