Total recoveries came in at 47,160 in December, up by 6.3% <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/recoveries-increase-by-4-again-in-november\/\">compared to November<\/a>. Recoveries in each stage and across all countries were higher, with no category bucking the trend. The most significant increase was default and court recoveries, which were higher by 9.4%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Recoveries-by-count-of-loans-Bondora-December-2019-1024x796.png\" alt=\"Recoveries by count of loans - Bondora December 2019\" class=\"wp-image-28739\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cash recoveries turnaround<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike last month, cash recoveries increased along with the total number of payments recovered, bringing the average payment recovery higher. In December, \u20ac490,352 in total was recovered, marking a 15.0% increase from last month. This brought the average missed payment recovered up to \u20ac10.40 from \u20ac9.61 in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Recoveries-by-cash-flow-Bondora-December-2019-1024x796.png\" alt=\"Recoveries by cash flow - Bondora December 2019\" class=\"wp-image-28745\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yearly Recovery Rate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The year ended with the 2019 recovery rate at 56.4%. The recovery rate for 2017 stands at 32.7%. The cumulative recovery rate also fell by less than 1% to 43.0% to end the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goandgrow.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Recovery-rate-Bondora-December-2019.png\" alt=\"Recovery rate - Bondora December 2019\" class=\"wp-image-28751\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recoveries by Country<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Estonian recovery rate for 2019 rose by about 1% to 56.9%. Meanwhile, the recovery rate in Finland decreased to 52.6% from 60.0% last month.
