Welcome to another post from our monthly peer-to-peer funding statistics series. Here, we talk about the most popular investment methods used by our customers in August and how this has changed since the previous month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The total amount originated was \u20ac5,282,035 in August, -2.6% (\u20ac139,310) compared to last month.<\/p>\n

In line with the trend of the previous month, Portfolio Manager<\/a> decreased in popularity in August and Portfolio Pro<\/a> increased its share. Standing at 28%, Portfolio Pro\u2019s share is slightly behind Portfolio Manager which is 32% – significantly lower than the 64% share it held in March.<\/p>\n

Go & Grow is still leading the way at 39% of the total share and over \u20ac2M, down 3% compared to July. At the beginning of June, Go & Grow was released to all new and existing investors.<\/p>\n

The percentage of investments made through the API decreased to 0.35% of the total (rounded figures in the pie charts) – due to the technical skills required for this option, we don\u2019t expect to see this fluctuate widely on a monthly basis, as seen with our other investment services .<\/p>\n

No further management is required as the Portfolio Manager takes care of everything for you. If you want to leave a certain amount of cash on your account that won\u2019t be invested, go in to your settings and adjust the Spare Cash Balance slider to your desired amount. It\u2019s easy!<\/p>\n

Portfolio Pro<\/strong> \u2013 Now you have more control. Select the risk ratings you want to invest in (ranging from AA \u2013 HR), select which countries, your preferred loan durations and it\u2019s done. If you wish, you can also add a few more rules like the range of interest rates applied to the loan and also the bid size. We will then give you an expected return range along with the distribution you can expect across your selected filters.<\/p>\n

API<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 Use your programming skills to access the functionalities of the Bondora platform without using our web interface.
