Lasha’s journey at Bondora:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

I joined Bondora around 1.5 years ago. I was looking for new adventures then, so Bondora came up at precisely the right time. I have been a part of a great team with which I have enjoyed working a lot so far. There have been lots of challenges on the way, and probably many more are coming up, but that’s what makes it fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lasha’s typical workday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I usually work in a hybrid mode \u2013 half of the time from home and the other half from the office. My home setup is a bit different, I have a much noisier keyboard\u2328\ufe0f for example, but in the office, I usually need noise-canceling headphones\ud83c\udfa7 to fully focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In both cases, I like to have a minimalistic setup, with only necessary items on the desk. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfd7\ufe0fBuilding new stuff and seeing it work for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what makes being a developer at Bondora awesome?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Great people around you and lots of challenges!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you find your way into the world of programming? What has the experience been like so far?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I was always excited by computers\ud83d\udda5\ufe0f and interested in doing things with computers. Still, I didn’t think I would start programming until I decided to go to university and chose my study program. I have always felt that I got lucky\ud83c\udf40 with my choice, so I’m pretty happy with the experience so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What programming language is your favorite and why?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The language that I know the best: C#.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your best investment advice?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Don’t overlook it, and start investing as early as you can (if you are not already) \ud83d\udcc8<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best cybersecurity\/IT tip?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Get to know your tech better and try to understand how things work. That’s the best way to be safe and make your life easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are some of your hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can find me doing many things in my free time, from outdoor activities like cycling\ud83d\udeb5, hiking\ud83e\udd7e, traveling\u2708\ufe0f to being at home and watching football\u26bd, binge-watching TV shows\ud83d\udcfa, or playing video games\ud83c\udfae. Also, catching up with friends with some good craft beer\ud83c\udf7b is always a pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n

What are your favorite games to play?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I like board games a lot, so when I have company, I try to play whatever game I get my hands on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From video games, I would say ‘Outer Wilds’<\/a> is a masterpiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which game have you clocked the most hours with on Steam?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I think this is \u2019Dyson sphere program<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bacon: yay or nay? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I prefer prosciutto, but I wouldn\u2019t say nay to bacon either \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s your favorite TV show\/podcast?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u2018The Leftovers\u2019 from TV shows. I don’t listen to many podcasts, but if I had to name one, it would be a football one: \u2018Serie A Audio Experience by IFTV<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s your favorite kind of music (to listen to while programming)?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While programming definitely electronic music\ud83c\udfb6, specifically techno\/house. It helps me to get in the zone and into the rhythm easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have any pets?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I don’t have one, but my girlfriend’s parents have this cutie that loves to be the center of attention. Her name is Kissan.<\/p>\n\n\n

What superpower would you like to have and why?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’ve always thought that I would love to have the ability to teleport \u2013 traveling to any point in the universe\ud83c\udf0c in seconds sounds exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s something that you want to do but scares you?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Learning the Estonian language, although I have made some progress with it recently \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n
